Enstor Katy Storage and Transportation, L.P. ("Enstor Katy") is a high-deliverability, multi-cycle natural gas storage facility located in Fort Bend and Waller Counties, Texas. Enstor Katy consists of a depleted gas production reservoir, redeveloped as a natural gas storage reservoir, and a dual pipeline header system interconnecting with 14 major natural gas pipelines. The location and connectivity of the Enstor Katy Hub places it at the intersection of production from the Northeast, South Texas and Permian Basin regions of the United States. Strategically positioned to serve the growing market demand from LNG liquefaction and natural gas exports into Mexico, the Enstor Katy Hub also serves the storage needs of natural gas producers, energy marketers, electric power generators, utility and industrial users.
The Enstor Katy Hub offers customers Wheeling and Pooling services. Customers can trade physical gas at the highly liquid ICE Katy-Enstor Pool, and wheel gas between the Katy-Enstor Pool and pipeline interconnects on the Enstor Katy Hub. Customers may also wheel gas directly between pipeline interconnects on the Enstor Katy Hub.
Services offered at Enstor Katy include firm storage, park and loans as well as swing services. All services at Enstor Katy are offered at market based rates. These services include access to the Katy-Enstor Pool and pipeline interconnects on the Enstor Katy Hub. Enstor Katy can tailor contract terms to meet customers' individual needs.
