Stanley G. Chapman III retired as Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer of TC Energy in July 2025, following a career spanning more than four decades in the North American energy industry. Prior to his retirement, Mr. Chapman held other senior executive positions at TC Energy, including President of U.S. and Mexico Natural Gas Pipelines and President of TC PipeLines GP, Inc. In these roles, he led natural gas transmission, storage, and related businesses across the United States, Canada, and Mexico.
Before joining TC Energy, Mr. Chapman served as Executive Vice President and Chief Commercial Officer of Columbia Pipeline Group, where he played a strategic role in the company's initial public offering. Earlier in his career, he held positions of increasing responsibility at El Paso Corporation and Tenneco Gas, with experience spanning commercial operations, supply, regulatory affairs, business development, and asset optimization.
Throughout his career, Mr. Chapman has been active in industry leadership and governance. He served as both a Director and Chairman of the Board of the Interstate Natural Gas Association of America (INGAA) and as a member of the Executive Committee of the Society of Gas Lighters. He has also been involved with the International Association for Energy Economics and numerous community organizations.
In addition to serving on the Enstor Board of Directors, he currently serves as Chairman of the Board of Bruce Power, Canada's largest nuclear generating company and one of the world's largest nuclear power operators. Mr. Chapman holds a Bachelor of Science in Economics from Texas A&M University and a Master of Business Administration with a concentration in Finance from the University of St. Thomas.
