Jennifer S. Banner has more than 35 years of board, executive, and professional experience including serving 25 years on public and private company boards; 14 years as Chief Executive Officer of Schaad Companies, a private diversified real estate company; and 22 years as a Certified Public Accountant with both Big Four and national accounting firms. 

Ms. Banner brings board-level oversight of complex, capital-intensive, highly regulated enterprises in critical infrastructure sectors. Since 2003, she has served as an independent director of Truist Financial Corporation, a large complex banking organization, where her board responsibilities have encompassed capital allocation, technology transformation, cybersecurity, risk management, CEO succession, and strategic decision-making. She has served as Chair of Truist's Compensation and Human Capital Committee and currently serves on both the Audit and Technology Committees. Ms. Banner also serves on the board of Elme Communities. 

Ms. Banner previously served as an independent director of Uniti Group, Inc., a publicly traded telecommunications infrastructure company, where she chaired both the Audit and Corporate Governance Committees. She served two terms on the board of the Federal Reserve Bank of Atlanta's Nashville Branch and has contributed to published research and board education as an Industry Research Fellow at the MIT Center for Information Systems Research.

Ms. Banner holds Bachelor of Business Administration and Master of Accountancy degrees from the University of Tennessee.
