ENSTOR Announces Open Season for Katy and Alberta Firm Storage

PORTLAND, Ore. – ENSTOR, a unit of ScottishPower’s PPM Energy, Inc., will be accepting bids for firm storage capacity at its Katy Storage Hub for service beginning on April 1, 2003. Binding bids will be due by 5:00 p.m. CST on February 14, 2003 and final awarding of contracts will be completed prior to March 1, 2003.

ENSTOR's Katy Storage Hub is interconnected with eight Texas intrastate and four interstate pipelines and has a total storage capacity of 21 Bcf. Katy can also be utilized as a header system allowing customers to capture value between the various pipelines.

Parties interested in bidding for firm storage at Katy Hub should contact Patrick DeVille at 713-260-9690 for a full bid package. All bids over the minimum threshold will be considered for final awarding.

ENSTOR is also marketing its capacity at the Alberta HUB storage facility. The Alberta HUB is strategically located in Central Alberta on TransCanada’s NGTL System.
