Formerly called the Chaparral Energy Center, the site was acquired as part of ENSTOR's acquisition of assets from Aquila in December 2002 that included the Katy gas storage facility near Houston. The Waha project is expected to be developed in two phases over the next three years, with the first phase operational in late Spring 2009.
